The PTFE U-shaped seal is available for pipe systems with diameters from 80 to 300 mm and wall thicknesses between 1 and 3 mm. In combination with the tried and tested Jacob pull-ring, this development ensures the best possible impermeability and resistance, especially during contact with aggressive solvents. The special membrane design, together with an O-ring, makes the otherwise relatively stiff PTFE U-shaped seal more elastic. The excellent impermeability values are a direct result of the interaction between the membrane and sealing ring contour and their alignment with the pull-ring.
The black, electrically conductive PTFE U-shaped seal is also available in white with FDA approval.
