To achieve optimal reproducible grinding results and fineness down to the nanometer range with smallest product batches the laboratory agitator bead mills of the MicroSeries of Netzsch-Feinmahltechnik offer a good solution. The MicroSeries is available in three different material designs. For the MicroFer all grinding chamber parts are of stainless steel, while for metal free fine grinding one could use either the MircoCer (zirconium oxide or SiC/Si3N4 design) for solvent-based or the MicroPur (polyurethane design) for water-based products. All three machines are equipped with the Zeta grinding system. The improved centrifugal separation system allows the use of smallest grinding media from 0.05 to 0.8 mm.
The laboratory machines are equipped with a double acting mechanical seal and an adjustable hose pump. Designed for grinding small batches in the range of 0.14 to 0.5 l the products are continuously processed in circulation operation between the integrated circulation tank and the laboratory mill. The swiveling grinding chamber facilitates the operation of the machine which leads to lowest product loss.
