Elfab has made the benefits of its industry-leading, Atex-approved burst detection system available to all Arma-Gard graphite bursting disc cus-tomers. The Slimline Arma-Gard features thinner face-to-face dimensions than the sta-ndard version, enabling Elfab’s non-invasive and reusable Flo-Tel(r) detector to now be fitted as standard. Slimline Arma-Gard’s steel-armoured ring serves the dual purpose of protecting the graphite disc while allowing for the degree of clamping force necessary for correct sealing. The bursting disc is immune to the damage suffered by conventional gra-phite discs, which is caused by poor storage, handling or installation. Due to its unique design, Arma-Gard eliminates the possibility of side wall bursts and is not torque-sensitive.
