Security at all workplaces
The transportable BM 25 by Oldham group is a reliable multi-warning instrument that detects nearly any combustible gas or vapour. In addition, more than 20 different sensor cells for toxic gases are available. At the same time the instrument monitors the oxygen concentration at the workplace and warns personnel against a dangerous lack of oxygen. Because of its special Ex-approved design, the BM 25 can even be used in Ex area 0. It was specially designed for mobile workplaces, e.g. in tunnels, water or sewer tunnels. Other important areas of application are in the petrochemical industry, on off- and onshore platforms or in the chemical industry. Here, a variety of toxic gases can be present. Therefore there is the choice among more than 20 sensor cells for toxic gases; the BM 25 can be equipped with right sensor cells for a given workplace. A typical configuration of a BM 25 is the protection against combustible gases (e.g. methane, propane), protection against oxygen deficiency (O2) and against the toxic gases carbon dioxide (CO2) and hydrogen sulphide (H2S). If several BM 25 around a trouble spot are connected they warn the environment against a leakage of dangerous gases. Any user of the BM 22+ will also like the BM 25: it is robust, reliable and offers even more opportunities than the former version. The transportable multi-warning instrument BM 25 is Atex certified for applications in industry (II 1 G) and mining (I M1).
