Leybold Vakuum has developed the ScrewLine SP 250 dry-compressing screw-type vacuum pump specifically for use in demanding industrial processes. The SP 250 is the smaller version compared to the established ScrewLine SP 630. This robust pump has a pumping speed of 250 m³/h and replaces oil-sealed rotary vane and rotary piston vacuum pumps.
The screw-type vacuum pumps can also be combined as necessary with roots pumps in order to achieve higher speeds at lower pressures.
The screw shaped rotors are fitted to two horizontally arranged shafts and revolve within the pump chamber.
