The rotation of the Rotiko spray ball of Tuchehagen’s Varipure programme enables that the entire inner surface of the tank is supplied with cleaning solution. The cleaning diameter is up to 2.4 m in any installation position. There are versions with a spraying angle of 360° (type A1) or 180° (type G1). Specially designed spraying slots allow the formation of large drops and a uniform spraying pattern to achieve optimum cleaning results. Compared with conventional spray balls, the consumption of water and detergents is reduced by up to 50 %. The spray ball is self-cleaning. An annular gap in the connection sleeve and a hole directed towards the connection are provided to clean the outside of the immersion pipe. Flow rates are 0.8 to 4.5 m³/h, operating pressure ranges from 2.0 to 4.0 barg.
