The all welded plate heat exchangers Platular from Barriquand Echangeurs is of a robust construction, manufactured from either stainless steel or higher alloys. To enable it to be broadly used with all different types of media, an independent and generous spacing can be provided between the heat transfer plates, whilst removable access covers and optional wash systems simplify routine cleaning and maintenance. Platular models are available in a variety of length and flow configurations. The heat exchanger further offers process integration advantages such as the ability to combine several process streams into one core. Easy integration in existing plants saves additional space and can improve process performance. Platular is designed to meet specific process requirements of pressure drop and temperature approach in contact arrangements from crossflow to counter current.
