Geko offers sealless PTFE/PFA-lined chemical pumps with magnetic drive according to DIN EN 22858 compliant with Atex. They have been particularly designed for pumping dangerous and chemically aggressive liquids. Due to the usage of special materials the pumps are suited for FDA applications. The pumps are characterised by a closed PTFE-impeller with curved blades for higher efficiency, a PTFE-lined isolation shell made from metal-free carbon fibre and a PTFE-lined central coupling with a permanent magnet from cobalt samarium. The pump consists of two lubricant circuits that work independently from each other. Thus the run time is significantly increased in comparison to other chemical pumps. The maximum flow rate is 180 m3/h, and the pumps can be operated at temperatures up to +170 °C.
