Goudsmit Magnetic Systems presents self-cleaning external catch magnets that are mounted on the outside of the stainless steel (304) casing which, depending on the model, separate coarse or very fine iron particles from various different materials flows. The external pole magnet can be mounted in free-fall lines or pneumatic transport lines and is suitable for the bulk, plastics, recycling and animal feed industries and for the pharmaceutical and foodstuffs industries. Pneumatic controls take care of the cleaning of the magnet. This is started by a 24 V(DC) signal and then runs completely automatically. The external pole magnet can be supplied in various different models up to an inlet/outlet of 300 x 1000 mm.
