Bray Controls has announced the Series 92/93 rack & pinion double acting & spring return pneumatic actuator. The new actuator features two independently adjustable travel stop screws and a cam on the output shaft to permit precise bidirectional adjustment of actuator movement in both open and closed positions for quarter turn valves.
Series 92/93 actuators are rack and pinion, opposed-piston actuators available in two versions: double acting for rotation of 90°, 135° and 180° and spring return for 90° rotation. All double acting and spring return units are suitable for both on-off and throttling applications. Their ideal use is actuating butterfly, ball or plug valves, however, they can be applied anywhere a rotation of 90°, 135° and 180° is needed. They offer a maximum pressure of 10 bar and for temperature ranges of -40 to +95 °C.
