The APV Sirius is a high-capacity machine designed specifically for large-scale power plants, oil and gas processing facilities, and petrochemical process plants. With a heat transfer area on the market of up to 3.8 m²/plate, flow rates of more than 4500 m³/h and port-hole sizes of more than 500 mm, the APV Sirius marks a major step forward for very large flow applications requiring high cooling efficiency. This machine avoids the necessity to use a number of smaller plate heat exchangers in parallel. An additional benefit is a smaller footprint with substantial savings for foundations and piping.
