The mixer mill MM 301 is used for the size reduction and homogenisation of a huge variety of materials. A classic field of application is reproducible dry grinding, e.g. for sample preparation for subsequent XRF analysis. Thanks to screw-top, leak-proof grinding jars, wet grinding can be carried out in the MM 301 with 100 % material recovery. For cryogenic grinding of temperature-sensitive samples, the MM 301 offers the advantage that the required pre-cooling of jar and sample only takes a few minutes. Grinding jars are available in volumes from 1.5 to 50 ml and in six different materials.
