The Dräger Polytron 7000 is a gas detector that can satisfy nearly all toxic and oxygen gas measurement applications on a single platform. The software menu of Polytron 7000 is simple and easy to use. Calibration has been made easier with the autocalibration function. With Polytron 7000 the communication to the central control system can be selected between 4…20 mA and/or Hart fieldbus. Alternatively, up to eight transmitters can be daisy chained for operation on a single twisted pair connection in full digital mode. Sensor self test function, required for SIL 2, continuously performs sensor tests to ensure reliability of the gas detection system. Sensor Diagnostic Function evaluates the health of the sensor.
