Haugs high-pressure compressor series Type TOG are totally oilless piston compressors with a final pressure of up to 170 bar in the power range up to 30 kW. The compressors function completely dry, i.e., with no cylinder lubrication and no oil bath in the crankcase. This technology is therefore the natural choice for processes that demand maximum possible safety. An important side-effect is the savings on operating and filter-replacement costs. The two-stage high-pressure unit consists of two cylinders located one above the other. Oilless compressors are suitable for both continuous and intermittent operation. Compression can be split into as many as five stages, depending on the needs of the particular application. The intake pressure may rise as high as 25 bar. A permanently tight drive system featuring a magnetic coupling assures maximum gas tightness even at high intake pressures.
