With the recent acquisition of Premier Pneumatics of Salina, Kansas, USA, by the K-Tron Process Group, K-Tron has now opted to use the Premier Pneumatics brand name for all of its pneumatic conveying lines. Premier Pneumatics is one of the leading names in the pneumatic conveying business in the North American market.
K-Tron has been marketing its vacuum conveying systems as K-Tron Pneumatic Conveying Systems (PCS), based on its PCS business located in Stockport, UK. K-Tron purchased PCS Limited in 2001 and will continue to manufacture its PCS line of sanitary vacuum conveyors in the Stockport facility.
In addition, the K-Tron Colormax line of conveying and auxiliary equipment will also be integrated into Premier Pneumatics. Colormax, a member of the K-Tron group of companies since 2000 will continue to serve the plastics industry with its established range of equipment manufactured in Telford, UK.
