The stationary and portable psychrometric sensors FPA 836 from Ahlborn offer a reliable and accurate measurement of the relative humidity. They measure at high humidity and extreme climate (e.g. 85 % r.H. at 85 °C ambient temperature), where alternative systems such as capacitive sensors show no more results. The psychrometer includes 2 high quality RTD sensors, which are exactly adjusted to each other. For calibration purposes the temperature sensors can be taken out of the sensor housing. All mechanical components of the psychrometric sensors FPA 836 can be used at ambient conditions from freezing point to boiling water. Ambient temperature will have no influence to the measurement. The sensors offer an accuracy of less than 1 % r.H. and can be easily adapted to all Almemo measuring instruments and datalogger. To improve the accuracy, absolute pressure sensors are adaptable for automatic or manual air pressure compensation.
