In process technology there is a risk of unwanted product reactions to the ambient atmosphere. In order to prevent them, it is necessary to render the reactors inert to the process and prevent the intake of oxygen and the outlet of toxic gas during the production process. Inert gas ventilation has been proven as the means of choice. Bormann & Neupert provides low-pressure control valves which reliably control the inflow and outflow of the gases using a pressure reduction and overflow valve. At the same time, they comply with the highest safety standards. The low-pressure control valves are available in different designs: Straight-through types and corner valve versions and a wide range of connection types, housing materials and accessory parts are available. The pressure levels can be regulated from -200 to +1000 mbar using the springs. The low-pressure control valves in reactors can also be used for applications with the highest demands with regard to surfaces, dead spaces and sterility.
