Donaldson Membranes has developed the mircoporous PTFE membrane Tetratex Release to provide dust cake release properties. Tetratex Release is thermally stable up to 287 °C and is manufactured from PTFE Fluropolymer resin, a chemically inert material. Designed specifically for applications that require enhanced needlefelt surface for dust cake release, Tetratex Release delivers high particulate capture rates by limiting fine particle penetration and maintaining optimum airflow at a reduced pressure drop. As a surface filtration PTFE membrane, Tetratex Release can be applied onto a variety of substrates for pulse jet bag house applications. Tetratex Release results in near zero emissions for particles larger than 3 µm.
