The integrated controller of the proven Jumo dTron 16.1 series makes sure that laboratory warming ovens or tempering baths, for example, are controlled safely and easily, because the most favorable parameters for the different control tasks are determined automatically through autotuning, thereby enabling a precise control action. Up to 3.6 kW heating power can be connected readily by means of a socket outlet with safety ground connection. Setpoint and process value are displayed simultaneously in digital form. The required temperature is entered from the membrane keypad on the controller.
Any impermissible overheating of the product is monitored through an additionally settable limit and visually signaled; at the same time, the heating is safely disconnected from the mains supply.
Pt100 resistance thermometer or Fe-Con thermocouple probes can be connected. Jumo supplies this controller with an optional RS485 data interface for recording the temperature profile on a PC. This involves connecting the LR16.1 to the PC via a 9-pole SUB-D socket, whereby the data can be visualized, documented and administered using the SVS-2000N software.
