The latest generation of Gravi-blend, the feeding and blending system from Colortronic, comes equipped with a fully integrated material conveying system. This means that there are fewer interfaces, it is easier to use, and material changes require less time, resulting in increased savings. Thanks to its reduced height, the system also takes up less room than its predecessor. The Graviblend generation features a fully modular design and with its integrated material loaders can convey raw materials from silos, octabins and other storage containers. For easy operation, all functions are combined on the uniform user interface of the C2 control system. Incorporated sight glasses in the material hoppers permit visual control of the material flow at all times. Like its predecessor, the system operates according to the principle of differential metering, that is to say, each individual component is metered by weight. The synchronous metering of all materials ensures absolute adherence to the formulation and an optimum blend of the components.
