The Cuno DuoFlo filter system is an advanced replacement for standard bag filters giving superior contaminant removal efficiency and enhanced flow along with up to four times the service life of conventional felt filter bags and reduced total filtration costs. Fitting standard bag filter housings, its design combines a true graded porosity structure with a 62 % increase in surface area. DuoFlo filters are available in both polypropylene and polyester materials with nominal ratings from 1 to 100 µm. The element and support basket simply fit into most existing bag filter housings. A variety of inlet/outlet connection styles is offered, with a true in-line configuration eliminating the need for the additional piping and elbows required by conventional filter bag housings. In the DuoFlo graded-porosity filter design two media layers of different porosities are combined, increasing capacity by removing larger contaminants in the first layer and finer ones in the tighter downstream layer.
