No dead spaces (piggable), materials and surface qualities in accordance with the standards and directives of the pharmaceutical industry, precision sensor, available with all standard industrial process connections – these are the attributes of Wika’s TR472 resistance thermometers. The instruments are used in applications where a thermowell immersed into the process is not possible or not desired. A wide variety of process connections (e.g. according to DIN 11 851, DIN 11864–1, DIN 11864–2, TRI-Clamp) is available, so that these thermometers can be used for many different processes.
3- or 4-wire platinum resistors in accuracy classes A and B according to DIN EN 60 751 serve as sensors. Analogue or digital transmitters built into the connection head are capable of making various output signals such as 4…20 mA, HART protocol or Profibus PA available.
