LAR offers now precise TOC measurements for trace analysis, using the combustion method with infrared detection. The widley accepted EPA 415.1 high temperature TOC method has been optimized for measuring low ppb levels of organic carbon. To prevent ambient air from contaminating the sample, the sample injection takes place within a closed loop system. Using a special batch system multiple injections of the same sample can be added to the digestion unit. The use of inert materials guarantees precise and interference free results at low ppb concentrations. The QuickTOCloop is only enhanced by its very low maintenance, less then 30 min per week, and when analyzing for only TC, no reagents are required. The QuickTOCloop is also available in a two-channel version for analyzing two completely different sample streams.
