High-calibre exhibition trio

Powtech, TechnoPharm and ExploRisk in Nuremberg
High-calibre exhibition trio

The pharmaceutical industry like the chemical industry is one of Europe’s key industries. The ceramic, cosmetic, food and pigment industries are also mainstays of the European economy. What investments are made in new technologies and plant in these key industries are discussed by the specialists at the parallel Powtech, TechnoPharm and ExploRisk trade fairs in the Exhibition Centre Nuremberg from 16 to 18 March 2004. Three trade fairs with complementary themes and a total of some 850 exhibitors make the Exhibition Centre Nuremberg the international meeting-place for process technicians, process engi-neers and production managers. Around 15,000 trade visitors are expected from all over the world. Partec – the international congress on particle technology – takes place at the same time as Powtech. The latest achievements of nanotechnology in the field of processing technology and analysis are presented in the Nano goes Powtech theme pavilion during the exhibition. Parallel to the TechnoPharm a large international congress takes place: the “International Meeting on Pharmaceutics, Biopharmaceutics and Pharmaceutical Technology 2004”, to which participants are invited by eight leading European associations, led by APV (Arbeitsgemeinschaft Pharmazeutische Verfahrenstechnik e.V.). “Fake Drugs and Fake-proof Packages“ and “Pharmaceutical Packaging: Hands-on Communication“ – these two key issues are the focus of attention in the Pharmaceutical Packaging theme pavilion. The third trade fair in the trio is ExploRisk. The exhibitors at this international trade fair show everything for explosion protection and industrial safety, e.g. for electromechanical engineering and electronics, plant and process safety, materials handling and logistics. The ESMG Symposium on Process Safety and Industrial Explosion Protection rounds off the information provided at this event for the industry.
