Hand-held PID gas detector

Hand-held PID gas detector
The key benefit of the compact Photo Ionisation Detector Sirius is its simultaneous monitoring of volatile organic compounds, combustible gases, oxygen-deficient atmospheres, CO and H2S. MSA has succeeded in fitting catalytic and PID technology into a compact instrument whilst ensuring sensors can be equipped or replaced at a later date with ease. The PID sensor reduces maintenance time as well as costs of ownership. Its features include stable zero readings, fast response and humidity resistance. The instrument is intuitively operated with one hand and allows for simple calibration by the push of a single button. Dominant visual and audible alarms provide for the required safety in the workplace. Power is supplied by either a strong lithium-ion or an alkaline battery pack, both of which can be swapped without tools and can be changed in hazardous areas.
