The AsepticSD size ASDMicro pharmaceutical spray dryer is the smallest of the Niro pharmaceutical spray dryers designed specifically for the aseptic processing of very small volumes of active ingredients including stabilised vaccines for injections. lt has a drying gas capacity of 30 kg/h. The ASDMicro is installed in a glove box for additional operator and product protection when processing active or toxic ingredients. It can be operated with organic solvents (acetone, methylene chloride, ethanol, and other organic solvents) as nitrogen is used as a drying gas. The ASDMicro belongs to the family of pharmaceutical spray dryers ranging from the PSD-1 to the PSD-7 with drying gas capacities from 80 to 4,000 kg/h.
