Tescom Europe has developed a series of pneumatically operated valves that are suitable for any high pressure application. The VA & VG series products are designed for both gaseous and li-quid me-dia and offer Cv values of 0.75 and 2.0. The maximum shut-off pressure can be up to 1400 bar while the required actuation pressure can be as low as 2 to 4 bar. To realise this pressure ratio a special balanced valve design has been implemented. This design also results in a very high cycle-life. The valve is available in both normally open (N.O.) and normally closed (N.C.) versions in stainless steel or brass. In addition to pneumatic actuation, a manually operated lever design is available. Logic valve circuits can be manufactured by using customised modules with cartridge-mount style valves.
