With the InPro 4260 pH probes, Mettler-Toledo introduces a patented polymer, the Xerolyt Extra. The InPro 4260 probes combine high accuracy with longevity even under the most demanding situations, making it a valuable choice in the field for better process control and low maintenance costs. The InPro 4260 electrodes come with an open junction, which solves the problem of diaphragm fouling often found in applications where sticky media, solu-tions with high particle content, or sulfide-bearing solu-tions are present. The Xerolyt Extra has already proven to be very stable in many industrial environments. It does not contaminate even in the presence of high concentrations of non-aqueous solvents, or many types of carbonates, sulfates and nitrates. It remains accurate to ±0.05 pH.
