Jornitz and Meltzer published their third joint book, “Filtration Handbook – Integrity Testing“ PDA, Bethesda, MD. This 150 pages strong handbook describes theoretical, but moreover practical aspect of filter integrity testing. Guidelines, validation, test instrumentation and methodologies are thoroughly evaluated and listed. This makes it a complete handbook on a specific topic, concerning the test of the validity of e. g. sterilizing grade filter.
After the publication of “Filtration in the Biopharmaceutical Industry“, 1998, Marcel Dekker, NY and “Sterile Filtration – A Practical Approach“, 2001, Marcel Decker, NY, Jornitz and Meltzer started focusing on a series of handbooks and training handbooks, which will be published by the Pharmaceutical Drug Association PDA and DHI Ltd.
