Stip Isco extends its range of TOC analyzers by introducing the EZ TOC II dual stream analyzer for water and wastewater. The analyzer measures TOC reliably at low concentrations and the dual channel option allows to measure source and treated water simultaneously for drinking water plant applications. The principle of the EZ TOC II is based on a UV-promoted chemical persulfate oxidation. Organic compounds are cracked and oxidized in a patented reaction chamber at 70 °C. The converted organic compounds are transported to an infrared detector via a carrier gas stream where they are measured as carbon dioxide (CO2).
