Emission-reducing gasket material
AFM 34 CO is an emission-reducing gasket material from Dana for industrial use, specially designed for flanged connections. The AFM 34 CO material creates ideal conditions for compliance with the leak tightness class according to VDI Guideline 2290 based on the German Technical Instructions on Air Quality Control (TA Luft). The newest member of the proven AFM 34 family of gasket material thus meets the most recent legislative requirements for strict leak rates. In this new development, AFM 34, the most efficient Victor Reinz gasket material, is additionally refined by a thin, highly adaptable surface coating (CO). AFM 34 CO thus achieves outstanding gas tightness, even in flanges with low surface pressures thanks to its enhanced micro-adaptation properties.
