The capacitive level sensor TLS100 detects the level of liquids in a tube system, signals it by means of an integral LED and helps to process it via a short-circuit proof switching output. The TLS100 features ease of mounting as it is simply snapped onto the tube to be monitored. This provides reliable contact between tube and sensor. Both sensor electrodes embrace the tube which at the same works as an isolation of the electrodes. As a conse-quence a much wider adjustment band has been rendered possible compared to sensor designs used up to now. The variable shape of the electrodes allows use of the sensor with different tube diameters.
The TLS100, suitable for voltage ratings from 9 to 36 V (DC), will therefore be of interest for many applications.
