Fluidsplit makes it possible to convey both fluidizable powders with poor air retention capacity and coarser, nonfluidizable powders reliably and economically. The bypass conveying system can be used with conveying lengths up to 400 m, conveying pipes up to DN 250 nominal diameter, and conveying rates of up to approximately 25 metric tons/h.
Fluidsplit whose applications are exceptionally flexible, enables a stabilized dense phase conveying in fluidizing and plug phases at low conveying velocities of 2 to 10 m/s. It is suitable – in particular for difficult tasks – for powdery bulk materials of all types, e.g. mortar mixtures, detergents, carbon black beads, PVC powders, BPA flakes, animal feed, cereals, or instant prod-ucts. Further advantages of the system are:
- It can easily be adjusted for different product properties and pipe routings.
- It is robust, reliable, and virtually trouble-free.
- It is self-regulating for hazardous product compactions caused by a change in the operating conditions.
- With fragile grains, it avoids or reduces the destruction of product granules.
- It reduces pipeline wear with abrasive products.
- It can be washed without disassembling the inlet valves.
