Vib and Press is the principle used for the Daxner control screener, where two actions are performed at once. In addition to the vibrating screen (Vib), which performs the screening action, the product is pressed through the flat screen (Press) by slowly rotating paddles located just above the screen mesh. The paddles are driven by a geared motor with variable frequency drive.
Products with poor flow characteristics can be sieved gently by this system, also when working with small screen mesh width screens. Additional advantages are the de-agglomerating and lump-breaking effect. This system can optionally be equipped with a permanent magnet for the separation of magnetic impurities. This control screener is designed for fast cleaning. The screen can easily be exchanged without the use of tools.
