Kraft has designed a special cycle-Lock, which is cutting off the process product and gas tight, during infeeding and outfeeding. The cycle-lock is consisting of a chamber with end of tube butterfly-valves and an electronic process control unit for the operation sequences and the system logic. The program of the control unit includes cleaning cycles, which allows to process different products which must not be mixed with each other. The cycle-lock can be delivered from DN 50 up to DN 500. Depending on the product flow and the specific weight chamber dimensions from 250 to 750 mm are suitable. The cycle-lock can be equipped with different liners and can handle alcaline and acid products from -50 up to 300 °C. It is water and dust resistant according to IP 65 and is available according to Atex. For micro powders smaller than 10 µm special solutions are at hand.
