The SolidC is a cost-effective standard duty pump intended for use in non-critical, less demanding applications. All product-wetted parts are in AISI 316L stainless steel. It is a highvalue standard pump that exceeds hygiene standards and complies with 3A and CE and has EHEDG certification.
The pump range consists of four pump sizes with the following performance data:
- Inlet pressure: max. 4 bar
- Capacity: 80 m³/h
- Head: 85 m
- Temperature: up to 120 °C
All SolidC pump sizes have the high-quality shaft seal also used in Alfa Laval’s 14 models of LKH premium pumps. Using the same shaft seal in both pumps simplifies the number of spare parts needed in stock. Conversion kits are available to change from a single to a single flushed seal.
The frontloading shaft seal can be exchanged without removing the back plate. This means that the shaft seal and O-rings can be changed in minutes. In addition, the compression coupling on the shaft is self-centering. A single person, without assistance, can fit the pump casing.
