Blending systems (C-frame blender) from Servolift can be used for containers with clamping bars, and also for various nominal container sizes. Examples of extended functions in addition to blending include lifting/lowering, slewing, and emptying after blending, which can be enhanced by a weighing system built into the supporting arm. An advantage of the re-engineered clamping system is the greater ease in positioning the containers with clamping bars.
The outer covering elements of the bin blender are made entirely of stainless steel, and the surfaces are compliant with GMP requirements. Thanks to the 30° alignment of the containers, the product is diverted into the container corners and blending blades are not needed. This means no cleaning of blending blades, no damage to sensitive products, any contamination, optimum blending result, and user friendliness. The blender also comes in versions suitable for use in potentially explosive areas according to 94/4/EG (Atex).
