The Ingersoll Rand EXP dia-phragm air pump, dedicated to the process industry is available in an Atex version. Built using carbon fiber reinforced polypropylene, motor and wetted parts of the pump have been specifically designed. Carbon reinforced polypropylen ensures full conductivity of the parts, thus avoiding electrostatic currents. This material further provides several advantages on the pumps: It ensures no fluid contamination with carbon, provides better mechanical properties with an improved fracture thoughtness and impact resistance, guarantees corrosion resistance that protects against premature failure in aggressive environments, and enhances strength to weigh ratio. Seven pump models are available, ranging in maximum flow outputs from 200 to 696 l/min.
