With its R 10 agitator seal Burgmann now offers a standardized low-budget seal cartridge which, having all the attributes of modern sealing technology, is an economical solution for use on six fixed shaft diameters at up to 8 bar and 150 °C.
Special features are:
- Double seal (face-to face) with rotating seat
- Pressurized with buffer fluid for optimum lubrication of sliding faces and hence long life
- Independent of the direction of rotation, balanced
- Stationary spring-backing
- Cartridge design
- Double-balanced, i. e. the seal remains closed even in the event of pressure reversal
