The EHEDG certified Pharmcom sampling valve by M&S can optionally be equipped with a steam valve for sterilisation. This makes it possible to sample liquids from tanks and pipes in a safe way. The valve is easy to clean and free of dead spaces. The shut-off takes place directly close to the products. Longevity of the gaskets is given by a metallic delimitation, but they can also be replaced quickly.
The valve can be welded into tanks or pipes. The sample is taken through an outlet. The second connector that is used for cleaning and sterilisation re- spectively may be equipped with a vapour valve. The opening and closing can be done manually by a hand wheel or a pneumatic actuator. The final position can optionally be indicated by a proximity switch. The material type with product contact is 1.4435 / AISI 316L. The valve operates at a working pressure of up to 10 bar.
