Atlantic Zeiser developed its software solution Medtracker for managing unique serial numbers. The software‘s modular design allows implementation across entire lines, production facilities or even whole companies – all with a single product. Unlike many customary software solutions, Medtracker is a generic database application offering the full functionality of a production management platform. As a consequence, all the process steps and functions of hardware modules or entire packaging lines required for serialisation can be configured relatively freely, monitored and, in particular, revised at any time without any programming in most cases. A key aspect relating to process visualisation across the whole company is the ability to connect ERP systems on both ISA-95 Levels 3 and 4. Medtracker owns multiple predefined and validated interfaces that can easily be adapted to any company‘s individual circumstances and workflows.
