Safe labelling of folding boxes
The GMP compliant tamper evident labeller by Bluhm closes folding boxes with special sealing labels, which will reveal tampering. Its compact dimensions allow the unit to be homogeneously integrated in complete systems like the check weighing and marking system by Mettler Toledo. Within the system the labeller is responsible for marking the seal. In the following step, sensors check whether labels are actually present and whether the boxes were securely closed. The equipment, including the labeller, is fully enclosed. The rounded, single piece cover protects the system. For exchanging label rolls the operator simply opens the cover and withdraws the labeller to the front. In a pharmaceutical company the labeller is currently labelling an average of 7800 folding boxes per hour. A higher throughput is possible.
