The ABB PositionMaster EDP300 offers a single control solution for all small and large valves. Its ability to operate under a wide variety of air pressures enables customers to automate nearly all their valves with one positioner, saving time and money. In addition, its built-in intelligence enables it to adapt to any control value at the push of a button, while a host of functions -like partial stroke testing and fail-safe or fail-in-position – provide high operational performance.
The heart of the PositionMaster is its powerful pneumatics. A constant 0.03 kg/h steady state capacity will prevent customers over-spending on expensive compressed air, while its supply pressure capability, ranging from 1.4 to 10 bar and overload-proofing of 12 bar eliminates the need for pressure-regulator installation. Its 5 mg up to 50 kg/h air capacity span enables both, exact positioning of actuators with small working chambers, and precise adjustment of high-volume actuators without installing volume-boosters. PositionMaster cab be powered with air, nitrogen or natural gas.
